This will not be, by any means, an exhaustive list of websites. We have two bookmark storage sites where we direct students for in-school and at-home use. These are listed directly below this paragraph. The websites listed on this page are ones that either have special notes or are particular favorites. and are our primary bookmark storage sites. On these web pages, you can find many of the web links we use with students.

TeachersFirst This website provides teachers with excellent web resources for integrating technology into the classroom. If you register, you will get a weekly email about new sites. The search engine is powerful and their collection is extensive. This website has MANY resources we've not seen anywhere else.

Up To Ten: This website is free for schools. The majority of activities are geared to Kindergarten to practice mouse skills in context of learning content skills. Additional thinking activities will appeal to primary and lower intermediate students. You must apply for a membership as an educational institution.

Starfall: The premier website for early readers. Workbooks are inexpensive or can be downloaded and printed. No longer free for Colorado teachers.

Instant Poetry Forms: This site has multiple templates for poetry. Choose a type of poem from the list on the left side and the site will bring up a template and sample. Fill in the blanks and create a poem. Our students copy the final poems to paste into word processing and decorate.

Multimedia Resources for the Classroom: A compilation of multimedia resources in one place. The links below are all found on this one page of the Utah Dept. of Ed. website.
  • Science Video Clips These clips from the Science Digital Video Library are excellent. Many can be downloaded and some can even be edited. You do have to register, but there is no cost.
  • Thinkport Video Thinkport not only has video clips (which are being updated), but also collects other resources for teachers. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Open Video Project This collection includes many NASA resources!
